About The Role:

As our client list continues to grow and users use our platform in new and exciting ways, we inevitably find issues that need to be addressed. Your role will be to analyze the most difficult of these issues and work with the engineering team to come up with an appropriate solution. This will include participating in the full development process, including writing test cases, reviewing PRs and documenting your work, if needed.  

What You’ll Own

  • Working closely with L2 support who will properly verify that an issue exists and is reproducible before handing it to you
  • Fixing the actual defect in QbDVision to ensure clients are both happy and productive
  • Creating automated tests (TDD) to ensure the issue is properly fixed and never resurfaces
  • Collaborate with our internal experienced development team to design and implement solutions for both defects and new features
  • Working on difficult technical issues in a high learning environment

What You Need To Succeed

  • 4+ years of software development experience ideally with Javascript (ex. React.js and Node)
  • Experience working with MySQL
  • Excellent verbal/written English skills to pitch your ideas and work with clients
  • Code versioning tools, such as Git
  • As a bonus, working knowledge of Linux and CICD

Nice to Have, but not required

  • Experience working with Serverless solutions (ex. AWS Lambda)
  • Experience working with AWS
